The Centre for Advanced Manufacturing Technology was formed in 2006 to meet the needs of industry and academia in areas of product and process design, manufacturing production systems, technology management, and materials & manufacturing processes.

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of CAMTEC include:

  • the continued exploration of incremental and breakthrough technologies in product design, materials and manufacturing engineering;
  • the development and delivery of relevant and industry-driven postgraduate and undergraduate papers within AUT;
  • the formation of robust collaboration with national and international academic and industry-based institutions.
